Update 1 of 2:
December 24, 2007
Welcome to Monday:
It is not only the holiday season but we are celebrating
Aircast #50.
There is no way words would be able to thank you
enough for making this such an unbelievable year for me
(Excluding the passing of my dad).
It is my hope the rock and roll as part of the special Aircast will bring
a wide smile to your face. We fly back to 1966 and the Airplane had
2 performances at the Kitsalano Theater. Over 2 parts please enjoy
1 version of every song they play during the Vancouver gigs.
You’ll like the fact there are great covers and over the
2 Parts you’ll hear some one shot deals.
For now as the plane heads toward British Columbia, Canada
relax and enjoy a show that features Signe and Skip!
The songs were selected in an order to simulate an
authentic performance. The music flows nicely.
Look for Part 2 during a future flight!
Enjoy and thank you 50 Million Times for your support.

If you can help 2 great radio causes it would be fantastic. I put the information in the
Aircast but will also list it below. Aircast 13 info is below as well! Thanks as always and have a great flight!
For 20 years Don Grossinger has been helping the dinosaur with a program called Morning Dew Saturday Night 9:30 to midnight eastern time on WBAI 99.5 New York City. Morning Dew can be heard on the internet anyplace in the Airplane universe. The program has always been friendly to the San Francisco scene. For it to continue it needs our support. Please go to www.wbai.org to not only enjoy the show but to keep it around forever. This is not about politics. I would never use a microphone on a music show to tell people they should be left, center, right or all of the above. This plea is to help a fine person and a quality rock and roll program.
There is a tremendous internet station that can be found at www.techwebsound.com
24 hours a day they are playing 60’s psych music and always diverse. Oh really? Yes! How about today Airplane, Sons Of Adam, Beatles, Captain Beefheart, Pandamonium, and the Pretty things all in under 30 minutes!
Please help www.techwebsound.com and Morning Dew at www.wbai.org Thank you 1,000,000 times.
Have a great and safe weekend,

How are you this evening? I hope the 5th Aircast makes it a great flight. Found at the bottom
of the page it includes opening the vault for a 1967 rehearsal of
Won't You Try/Saturday Afternoon. October 5, 1967
Pacific High Studios, San Francisco, California! Yes, I did call Bob Welch's song
"Sentimental Lady" by mistake "Sentimental Journey" (Ringo Starr). Sorry Bob.
Enjoy!
All the best,
Craig

Happy weekend. There is a great Jefferson Aircast today. Placed here first. A look back to 1965 when Skip Spence and Signe Anderson did 2 cover songs. One is a Rollings Stones masterpiece. Enjoy! It is found at the bottom of the page.
All the best,

Happy Monday to all on the flight. How was the weekend?
Normally the Aircasts wouldn't be so close together but.............
Check it out and you can hear the topic is pretty important to me. In fact it is 3:14AM when I finished the Aircast and now have to start registering it at different sites.
Hope you enjoy it and the lost treasure from the vaults. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page please it is waiting for you!
Make it a great day and be well,
Airplane Man

Happy Friday from Airplane Central. How you doing today?
The 2nd Jefferson Aircast (Podcast) is done. As always it appears here first and can be found at the bottom of the page. It is dedicated to dad who passed away on 3/10/07. There is a nice Jorma track from the vaults, Jefferson Airmail, and we check the Jefferson "Rumour Mill." Enjoy and thanks for listening!
All the best for a great weekend,
Airplane Man

How are you fine Airplanes doing tonight? I received several great questions about Podcasts
and wanted to share the information with you. Thanks as always!
1) When you make a Podcast does it show up on all the Podcast Listings Sites?
That would be great! There are some after all the details are fine with the registration of the cast that will show it fairly quickly. Many you have to register at a specific site and even after you do they will contact you in 1 to 7 days to let you know if it is approved.
2) Will your Podcast be easy to find for those that may not have knowledge of the different directories of Podcasts?
Yes. Part of being fan friendly is never assume anything and if a person is a technical genius or only uses the computer minutes per day, it should be user friendly. I will always place the Podcasts on this site http://www.takemetoacircustent.net in the JA Aircast Section.
3) I thought getting the final live "Emergency" was cool. Will you give other rarities in future Podcasts?
Yes. Each one will have something from the J.A. vaults.
4) When you make a Podcast that has audio (Music) and voice do you need a multi-track recording software at home or work?
That is a terrific question. You can use a standard audio capture program that records, playsback, and edits. This lets you add to a file or place many files together. The common way most people go about things would be to either record the voice-over first and then the music portions or the other way around.
5) Are the audio capture software downloads expensive?
You can pay from 20.00 to in the 1000's! If you have a microphone and even an average audio capture program, the fidelity and results can come out rather nice. As in most software the instructions are written by people that are very "Tech" oriented. They often make the hardest part of the software understanding what they are saying. It is pretty common that if a family member/friend/co-worker shows you the different features and you take notes, it will be only a matter of time before you can make use of the different function.
6) Is there a Podcast Directory Site that we should visit because they have been professional to you and other Podcasters?
Yes. Below is a code that I was asked to put on the site from the nice people at "Vital Podcasts." They approved my Podcast Listing in under 24 hours and the feedback about their operation has been very positive.

Hello to the Jefferson crowd. How are you today?
I got a call from the hospital that dad may have only a week or less to live, unless
a miracle is about to happen. In order to keep me occupied the marketing team from
"Take Me To A Circus Tent" told me to have some fun with a Podcast.
They thought it would remind me of my days in radio. I did it and it was enjoyable,
as everything has been with the book.
Here is the 1st one and suggestions are always welcome.
Please think of my dad,
Airplane Man

Note to the fine passengers:
Please remember at any moment on an Aircast
it can be a rare memory from the Jefferson Airplane,
Jefferson Starship, KBC, Wooden Ships, Marty Balin,
Paul Kantner to name several.
